AUDL’S MINNESOTA WIND CHILL TO HOST TWO-TIME DEFENDING CHAMPION NEW YORK EMPIRE AT TCO STADIUM IN 2024
ST. PAUL, Minn. (December 12, 2023) - The Minnesota Wind Chill of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) will host the two-time defending league champion New York Empire next July, in one of the top matchups of the upcoming 2024 regular season. The date of the game will be finalized in the coming weeks and is slated to be hosted at TCO Stadium at Vikings Lakes in Eagan, Minn. The Wind Chill have also released 2024 season ticket packages, including four tier options with various benefits and customized gifts, all of which include a ticket to the game against the New York Empire.

Both Minnesota and New York will return to TCO Stadium after the 2023 AUDL Championship Weekend in August, capped by the Empire’s 19-12 title victory over the Salt Lake Shred. The Wind Chill came up just short in the semi-final game against Salt Lake, losing in overtime after an incredible buzzer beating play by the Shred to extend the game at the end of regulation. Thousands of fans enjoyed an unforgettable weekend in Eagan, Minn., and many more from around the world tuned in via AUDL.tv and FOX Sports 2. The event marked the twelfth Championship Weekend in AUDL history and the first year in which Minnesota hosted the league’s premier event. The 6,000-seat TCO Stadium opened in 2018 and is part of Viking Lakes, a multi-use development that is home to the Minnesota Vikings and the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel.
The Wind Chill won their first Central Division crown in team history after tallying an 11-2 record in 2023. Reloaded and determined, the team returns to their home venue of Sea Foam Stadium in 2024 with four season ticket options. All packages include admission to all six Wind Chill home games, a flex ticket for a friend, a preseason event invitation, and one free month of AUDL.tv. Kids ages 10 and under get into games for free all season long. Sea Foam Stadium will once again host all Wind Chill home games in 2024 with the exception of the New York Empire game being held at TCO Stadium.
