Two weeks have passed since we released our Name Change Bracket and the final two names have been decided after an intense second round of voting. The Chicago Blues will be taking on Chicago Union in this week’s final round of voting. We are counting on you to vote for which of these two names you’d like to see replace the Wildfire!

During our second round of voting Chicago Blues had an uphill battle against the Chicago Chaos. The Chaos had a clear lead early on in the public vote propelled by some enthusiastic Chads supporters, but nearly 80% of Chicago’s newsletter subscribers voted for Blues, which pulled out the win. 

On the other side of the bracket, Chicago Union had a steady lead on Chicago Goats throughout the second round of voting, and ultimately eliminated the only animal name in contention.
