Zach Kieffer attended Eastern Illinois University and joined the ultimate frisbee team to make friends. He broke his thumb on his throwing hand the very first practice and through the many drops and learning curves he continued to work and develop and was able to bring his team to the game to go to get to Nationals as well as earn D3 Great Lakes player of the year honors his senior year. He moved to the suburbs to continue playing the game he loves as well as find ways to give back to the community by finding opportunities to coach.
