Grew up in Lansing, IL playing baseball and football in high school. During Preview at Illinois State, they mentioned Ultimate Frisbee as a club and he joked about joining the team. Ricky ended up playing with the Gnomes and became an assistant captain after two years with Jack Shanahan and Jeremy Burril. After graduating he moved back home, played with some Chicago club teams, and is ready to take on professional Ultimate.
