Chicago takes on Minnesota in second game of doubleheader weekend

July 7, 2021

The Chicago Union are back at Elmhurst University’s Langhorst Field this Sunday, July 11 at 2pm. They'll take on the Minnesota Wind Chill in the second game of a double-header weekend.

After a narrow 18-15 win this past weekend over the Madison Radicals, the Union head into Week 6 of the AUDL season with a perfect record; at 5-0, they’re one of just two remaining undefeated teams in the league and sit alone atop the Central Division. This weekend they’ll rematch the Radicals in Madison on Saturday, then return home to face Minnesota for the second time this season on Sunday.

In their first game against Minnesota, the Union led 13-6 at halftime and held on to win 23-18. Through the first five weeks, the Union are averaging just nine turnovers per game, leading the league by three fewer turnovers than the next closest team. Chicago also allows the fewest points per game and averages the second-most scores.

Tickets are available on the official team store.
