The Pittsburgh Thunderbirds will play their final home game of the 2021 season this Saturday, August 21 at 6:00pm at JC Stone Field. They’ll take on the Atlanta Hustle for the second time this season. 

At 1-10, the Thunderbirds will look to end their disappointing 2021 season on a high note, as they take on a Hustle team that has lost each of their last two games. While Atlanta has been a defensive powerhouse this season, the Thunderbirds scored more points on the Hustle than any other team in 2021 when they met for the first time three weeks ago.

The Thunderbirds will look to play spoiler to the Hustle’s chances of hosting a home playoff game; a win would ensure the Hustle will have to travel in two weeks. Six Thunderbirds games this season, including their 27-22 Week 9 loss to Atlanta, have been decided by five goals or fewer.
