Ottawa Outlaws Ultimate Sports & Entertainment Inc. is extremely pleased to announce that Teri-Lynne Belanger has joined the organization as the Director of Operations. As part of the management team, Teri-Lynne will assume responsibilities for game day operations, special events management, marketing and fan engagement and team administration.
Teri-Lynne brings with her 14 years of working in the ultimate community first with Ottawa Carleton Ultimate Association (OCUA) and then with Ultimate Canada as their National Events Manager. During her time with Ultimate Canada, she organized and executed several national championships at all levels including six at the high school level, eight at the university level, five indoor championships and nine club national championships. The growth of the club series over Teri-Lynne's time at Ultimate Canada was a huge part of the success of the sport across the country going from a single four-day event to three separate events: CUC Junior, CUC Single Gender and CUC Mixed.
"With Covid-19 ending my events career with Ultimate Canada, joining the Outlaws allows me to continue to work in a community that has given me so much and I am excited to see what this new position holds." Said Teri-Lynne Belanger
“Adding Teri-Lynne to our management team is probably the most significant move we've made in years," said Jim Lloyd, managing partner for the Outlaws. "Teri-Lynne understands our sport and how to put on world class ultimate events. She understands what our fans expect when they attend an Outlaws game and as we emerge from the pandemic, we will focus on creating a fantastic game day fan experience for everyone.”
