The opening pull of the 2019 AUDL season is set to launch on Saturday, April 6. The regular season will stretch 15 weeks, with the final weekend of regular season coinciding on July 13 and 14; the playoffs will ensue over the final two weekends of July.
Additionally, the 2019 season will include a bye for the entire league on the first or second weekend of June to accommodate the inaugural AUDL All-Star game. Due to this added event, the league is shortening each team’s regular season from 14 game to 12 in 2019.
“The addition of the All-Star game gave us an opportunity to introduce a slightly reduced team schedule for the 2019 season,” said new AUDL Commissioner Steve Hall. “We cannot wait to host a midseason exhibition featuring the top players in the AUDL all on the same field.”
Each team will play 12 regular season games between April 6 and July 13. AUDL Championship Weekend VIII—featuring two semifinal games and the championship game—will take place the 2nd or third weekend of August 2019 at a to be announced location.
