The Houston Havoc will be joining the AUDL's South Division in 2023 as the AUDL's third team in Texas! They will compete against Atlanta, Austin, Carolina, and Dallas starting this spring.
The team’s new name represents the chaotic, yet strategic movement of ultimate, and the disruptive energy the organization plans to bring to the pro sports scene in Houston. The region’s symbolic strength in energy innovation, space exploration and advanced architecture also mirror the beauty and power of ultimate.
The Havoc will play in AVEVA Stadium, sharing the state-of-the-art venue with the Houston SaberCats of Major League Rugby (MLR). The stadium opened in 2019 and features an overall capacity of 4,000, VIP seating, a 20’ x 50’ video board, and world-class fan and player facilities.
The Havoc will be releasing more information on their logo and branding over the coming months—additional information and updates will be added to this page as they become available.
Update: There will be a player combine and tryout for the 2023 team on Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22, at AVEVA Stadium in Houston. Head Coach Bex Forth and General Manager Sean McCall will oversee the events. Cash prizes totaling $1,000 will be awarded for each of three events at Saturday's combine.
