Hustle Return Home to Play the Phoenix

June 24, 2021

The Atlanta Hustle are back at St. Pius X High School this Saturday, June 26 at 7:00pm. The team has yet to lose a game this season, taking a 3-0 record into a Week 4 matchup against another undefeated divisional opponent: the Philadelphia Phoenix (2-0).

This week’s matchup is the first meeting between the Hustle and Phoenix in league history, a result of the league’s divisional realignment this past offseason. Both teams have locked down opponents defensively this season, with the Hustle and Phoenix ranking second and third in fewest points allowed, respectively.

The Hustle are one of just two 3-0 teams in the league this year. The strong start to the season mirrors a strong offseason, where the Hustle added several impact players to assemble their most talented roster to date. 2017 Callahan Award winner John Stubbs was integral in the Hustle’s Week 1 upset win over Raleigh, tossing three assists and scoring three goals. 2019 AUDL All-Star Antoine Davis has 10 scores and two blocks in three games played this season, while completing over 95 percent of his throws. Michael Fairley made the play of the game in Week 2, fueling the Atlanta win over Boston late in the fourth quarter. All three players are in their first year with the Hustle.
