Boston faces Philadelphia for first time ever

July 7, 2021

The Boston Glory are back at Hormel Stadium this Saturday, July 10 at 7pm ET. They’ll take on the Philadelphia Phoenix for the first time ever, as the two teams look to improve on their 2-3 records.

Through the first five weeks of the season, the Glory have looked the part in their inaugural season, consistently keeping games close while putting up 20-plus goals in four of their five games. They’ve shown they can compete with the best and despite the losing record, should continue to disrupt the Atlantic Division standings throughout the season. Their opponent this week, the Phoenix, started off 2-0 and have since lost their last three games. They’ll look to end their losing streak, while Boston fights to stay in the playoff conversation in the Atlantic.

Working in Boston’s favor is the play of their early season MVP candidate, Ben Sadok. Sadok is averaging 625 total yards and seven scores (goals plus assists) per game, both marks best in the league. The Needham, Massachusetts native been unstoppable since his first game, and if he’s able to lead Boston to the playoffs, he’ll have a strong case for the award in his first AUDL season.

Tickets to the game are available at the official team store.
