Raleigh faces Tampa Bay for the second straight weekend

July 7, 2021

Heading into Week 6 on a three-game win streak, the Raleigh Flyers are back at Durham County Stadium this Saturday, July 10 at 6pm ET. They’ll take on the Tampa Bay Cannons for the second week in a row.

The Flyers got off to a slow start in 2021, losing their first two games by one goal each, but have since been on fire with three decisive wins over Atlantic Division opponents; they’ve won by an average of nearly 10 goals per game. Last week they defeated the Tampa Bay Cannons 29-15 in Tampa, and the Cannons will be looking to get revenge this week in Raleigh. In two meetings against Tampa Bay in 2019, the Flyers won both games, but by an average of just 3.5 goals.

Through the first five weeks of the season, the Flyers lead the league in points per game, averaging over 24.0. They’re third in both offensive and defensive efficiency, and with a 3-2 record, they’re primed to make a playoff push for the sixth consecutive season.

Tickets are available on the official team store.
