The Seattle Cascades return to Memorial Stadium this Friday, June 25 at 7:30 PM/PT. They’ll take on the undefeated Austin Sol for the first time in franchise history.
The 1-2 Cascades currently sit in fourth place in the West Division and are coming off a tough overtime loss at home to the defending division champion San Diego Growlers. Both losses this year have come by two goals or fewer; the Cascades have looked like one of the more consistent teams in the West through the first three weeks despite the 1-2 record.
Known for the local youth scene, the Cascades roster features an impressive crop of rookies that played at Cleveland High School. 20-year-old Dominic Jacobs, a former track star at Seattle University, recorded a layout block for the second consecutive week this past weekend against San Diego. 18-year-old Aidan Lopez-Escarez has also made an impact early, tallying two assists, a goal, and a block on 34 points played this season. Aiden’s older brother Dante, David Zhou, and Martin Le round out the Cleveland High School graduates in their first year with the team.
Now's the time to grab your tickets and prepare for the big game. Visit the Cascades online store to view season and single-game tickets.
