Tampa Bay to face Boston at home for first time

July 22, 2021

The Tampa Bay Cannons will play their fourth home game of the season this Saturday, July 24 at 6:05 PM/ET at Campbell Park. They’ll face the Boston Glory for the second time this season, first at home.

The Cannons traveled up to Boston a month ago to take on the Glory for the first time ever; Boston is playing its inaugural season after joining the league in 2020. The result was a 17-24 loss, and the Cannons will look to get revenge at home this Saturday. The Cannons’ one win this season came at home in Week 3.

An emerging star on the team this year has been Unmil Patel, currently in his second season with the Cannons. Patel is tied for the team lead with 2.0 goals per game, and he leads the team in plus/minus at +19. He has scored four goals in each of his last two games—including against Boston—and will look to keep his streak going against a Boston team allowing over 20 scores per game.

Tickets for this game are available at the official team store.
