The DC Breeze will host a home playoff game this Friday, September 3 against the Raleigh Flyers. Opening pull is set for 7:30pm at Catholic University's Carlini Field.

After a thrilling double overtime win over Raleigh in their most recent home game, DC locked up home field advantage for the duration of the playoffs. As the top seed in the Atlantic Division, they will host the fourth-seeded Flyers this weekend with the winner advancing to Championship Weekend 10, the AUDL’s final four-style competition featuring two semifinal games and the championship. This year’s Championship Weekend is being held in DC at Audi Field on September 10-11; if the Breeze can get past the Flyers, they’ll get to play in front of their home fans on the biggest stage.

The Breeze have never before been to Championship Weekend, despite having made the playoffs in five of their seven prior seasons. With extra motivation being this year’s host city, DC will look to edge out Raleigh for the third time this season to lock in their first ever Championship Weekend appearance. Both prior meetings between Raleigh and DC in 2021 were decided by a single goal.
