Los Angeles at home Sunday to face Seattle for only meeting this season

July 28, 2021

The Los Angeles Aviators are back at LA Southwest College this Sunday, August 1 at 1:00pm. They’ll host the Seattle Cascades for the first and only time this season.

Heading into last weekend with a 1-5 record having only played the top three teams in the division, the Aviators traveled north to become just the second West Division team this season to win both games of a double header road trip. They played two of their most efficient games of the season against Seattle and San Jose, and now find themselves at 3-5 with four games remaining.

The star of this past weekend was young Aviator Danny Landesman, son of Head Coach Jeff Landesman. The 20-year-old LA native racked up an astounding 12 goals, seven assists, and two blocks on the weekend, building on what was already a stellar sophomore campaign. Now at 31 combined scores on the year, Landesman’s average of 6.2 scores per game ranks fifth in the league. He’ll look to repeat his 10-score performance vs. Seattle, as the Aviators take on the Cascades for the second consecutive week.

Tickets for this game are available at the official team store.
