AUSTIN, TX—The Austin Sol are gearing up for a championship 2024 season with open tryouts scheduled for February 17, followed by a closed tryout for top competitors on February 18 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Registration is now open.

In 2023, the Sol secured the South Division title before falling to the eventual champion New York Empire in the semifinals. The team is poised to return the majority of its roster, led by 2022 AUDL Coach of the Year Steven Naji. Coach Naji started in 2020 with a three-year plan to make Championship Weekend—the league’s end-of-season ‘final four’ style event—and fans can expect more exciting play in the upcoming season as the Sol look to earn their first championship.

"This team has grown from gritty underdog to a championship contender, and we're thrilled to welcome back Coach Steven Naji and the majority of our 2023 roster for what promises to be a thrilling 2024 season," said Sol General Manager Patrick Christmas.  

The Sol welcomed thousands of ultimate fans to The Pitch in 2023 and are excited to return to the state-of-the-art venue featuring great food, drinks and atmosphere. 2024 season tickets are now on sale, and fans can secure their spot today to witness the high-flying action of the AUDL. The 2024 season is set to kick off in May, offering fans an opportunity to witness the Austin Sol's quest for championship glory.
