The Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) has released a video series featuring instructional lessons on teaching and learning ultimate disc, specifically designed for youth beginners. The series is available on watchUFA.tv for free as a subscriber or $29.99 for unlimited access for new fans.
The series currently includes four overview videos on the sport’s fundamentals–forehand and backhand throwing, catching and defense–as well as ten tutorials of various games individuals and groups can play to practice their general skills. Current AUDL players Matt Smith (Atlanta Hustle) and Justin Burnett (Atlanta Hustle) join former league coach and Hall of Fame inductee Miranda Roth Knowles and youth players as they break down core elements of the sport, as well as ways every player can improve their game.
“The instructional video series offers a tremendous tool not only for new players, but for coaches and parents as well," said AUDL CEO Steve Hall. "Whether your child is looking for a new sport to enjoy or if you’re teaching a local youth team, all the videos can be viewed and used on the field time and time again.”
Additional videos, lessons and new coaches will be added to the series over time, helping all players advance their game well into the future. Current AUDL.tv annual and monthly subscribers will have complimentary access to the series, in addition. New fans can sign up for $9.99 per month or $89.99 per year, or they can purchase the video series only for $29.99 to watch for unlimited use.
