Boston Glory Names XPU as Official Training Partner

February 20, 2024

Following up on their playoff appearance in franchise history, Boston Glory is naming XP University (XPU) as their first ever training partner. New England’s Ultimate Frisbee Association™ (UFA) team is eager to partner with an organization rooted in the community with a track record of excellence.

“This is exactly what we needed as we enter our fourth season in the league,” Minority-owner, Luke Johnson said. “Two of the keys to building our franchise are: committing to our players and committing to our community. This partnership is doing both for us. We knew we wanted to be able to provide our players more off–season and in-season training opportunities and there is no one better for that than Pat, Ben, and the XPU crew. Not only will our guys get the training to improve as athletes, but they’ll also be able to bring a new sport to XPU’s existing base.”

The partnership will provide gym, trainer, and physical therapy access to Glory players through the 2024 season as well as detailed workout plans.

“In the past we’ve worked with countless athletes from countless sports in the past, we knew this was an opportunity to continue our growth,” said Pat Gigante, owner of XPU. “We’ve worked with a Glory player, Jay Clark, for a while now and have seen not just the growth of the sport but also the intensity with which these athletes train. We couldn’t be more excited for this partnership and to bring our teams together.”

XP University is a multi-faceted performance and wellness company headquartered in Massachusetts. They are a team of professionals with a combined fourty plus years of experience. The AUDL has been gaining popularity across the country since 2012. With Glory’s fourth season approaching, player signing and partnerships are picking up steam.
