Wednesday, April 5

The American Ultimate Disc League is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with Eleven Sports Network as a new media partner. The league has signed a deal with Eleven Sports to bring live AUDL action to cable television for the first time in AUDL history. During the 2017 season, Eleven Sports Network will air all 18 Game of the Week broadcasts—13 regular season games and five playoff events—on their cable channel.

“The AUDL is really excited to have our first ever game on live cable television April 9,” said AUDL commissioner Steve Gordon. “This is exciting for the league and ultimate as the sport continues to reach a larger audience.”

Founded in 2015, Eleven Sports Network is a brand new global sports network dedicated to delivering world-class international and domestic sports, as well as lifestyle entertainment. Initial launches include multiple channels across select domestic markets, with Taiwan receiving more than 2,500 hours of live coverage of premium sporting events annually, along with news, comprehensive analysis, digital content, and local programming. The pay TV channels are available nonstop in multi-screen and full HD. Broadcasts are locally produced to the highest international production standards. The U.S. network is available in over 50 million households.

Eleven Sports also acquired the rights to distribute AUDL games over their networks in Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Ukraine, and Italy.

The first Game of the Week broadcast takes place this Sunday, April 9 as the DC Breeze get set to host the reigning East Division champions the Toronto Rush. The AUDL Game of the Week will also be available for free via AUDL.TV and directly on the AUDL App.
